Dr. Azza Lachin , Dean of  Faculty of Engineering , Menoufia stated that community service and environmental development sector  at the Faculty has taken several steps in order to preserve the environment and public health within the college against the harmful effects of smoking, whether positive or negative, which is damaging to public health of the smoker and people around him, through the activation of the second Article of Law No. 154 of 2007 to the affairs of the prevention of smoking

Dr. Khalid Heza , Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development pointed out that a financial penalty will be i impose on any student who smoked in college between 50 pounds and 100 pounds
