The university president began his speech stressing that the information technology sector is one of the most important sectors, but is considered the most important because the right decision is taken through the correct information and the memory of any nation based on the information you are talking about, adding that the University of Menoufia is a fortunate university because it includes two colleges of engineering and college for computers and information and a computer department Faculty of Science The Faculty of Computing at the University is one of the largest colleges at the university level and has a large number of outstanding and innovative.Al-Khouli pointed to cooperation with the Ministry of Communications, announcing that within a few days a protocol will be signed between the university and the Ministry of Communications to establish the largest communication center within the university and open to the community with international standards and equipped with the latest equipment. The ministry is seeking to establish it in all universities. emphasizing on the importance of communication between all sectors of the state, which contributes to the rationalization of money and time and effort.
The Dean pointed out that this program is specialized in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship and is directed to Egyptian university students in the fields of ICT, aspiring to become innovators and entrepreneurs in the future by establishing their own companies or by enhancing the skills required by local or global companies .
He added that the main objectives of the program are to establish a cadre of talented Egyptian cadres of innovators and potential entrepreneurs, to educate students about the importance of protecting innovation through intellectual property rights and related subjects and to enable students to generate innovative ideas through the introduction of interactive scientific concepts and applications.
Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf, Vice Dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, said that the program will start today at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences to continue for 6 days. The course will include the following topics: Innovation and Technology Management, Fundamentals and Concepts of Innovation and Technology Management, Creative thinking camp, and training on ways to generate creative ideas to find solutions to the real problems, entrepreneurship, tools and skills that entrepreneurs need to establish an emerging company.
