Faculty of Arts hosts the centennial celebration of Egyptian Women of the National Council for Women.

Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University  hosted the celebration of Egyptian Women in 100 years (1919-2019) of the National Council for Women in Menoufia under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the Faculty, the Celebration was  under the title "Egyptian Women Origins of the Story" In the presence of the Dean of the College, Mona El Meligy, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women, Menoufia Branch, Brigadier General Eman Moaz, Head of the Violence against Women Unit, Directorate of Security, Dr. Zeinab Afifi, former Board Rapporteur and Ayman Yousef, Secretary General of the Council. The head of the Anti-Violence against Women Unit at the Directorate of Security, and Dr. Zeinab Afifi, the former council's councilor and engineer ,Ayman Yousef, in the General Secretariat of the Council.

At the beginning of the celebration, Madani welcomed the audience and thanked Dr. Zeinab Afifi for adopting the women's issues during the past period in the National Council. He expressed his pleasure to host the college for this important celebration because of the many problems related to the rights and empowerment of women in society. It is also able to make any society successful by its persistence and strength, and in the end he thanked the audience for this wonderful celebration.

Dr. Zeinab Afifi added that women throughout the ages are the ones who create security, tolerance and plant the seeds of patriotism among men. History is full of women's achievements in practical and scientific life such as Safia Zaghloul and Rose Al-Yousef, and women are the mothers who gave men and women role models in society with their wise ability.
