Menoufia University won the first place in the Cairo Water Week Conference 2019 as the best graduation project on water scarcity response, which was held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi from 20 to 24 October with the participation of nearly 23 international organizations and 70 scientists and Official  experts , and delegations to more than 100 countries.
