Coinciding with the Egyptian state’s celebrations of the anniversary of the October victories, Menoufia University organized, under the patronage and presence of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, an awareness seminar on the challenges of national security in the modern era, in which Major General Staff Naji Abdel Aziz Shahoud, one of the heroes of the October War and the advisor at the Nasser Higher Military Academy, spoke in the presence of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Brigadier General Staff Ahmed Abu Al-Ghar, Military Adviser to Menoufia Governorate, Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of Arts and Media Adviser to the President of the University, and some families of martyrs in Menoufia.


The president of the university began his speech by congratulating His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Egyptian people and the armed forces on the occasion of the epic October victories, which history will stand in front of the miracles recorded by the heroes so that Egypt remains safe and stable.


Mubarak welcomed Major General Staff Naji Shahoud to the premises of Menoufia University in the context of its celebrations throughout the month of the October victories, and his keenness to be present annually and meet students to tell them about the heroism and glories of the armed forces and the Egyptian people and the sacrifices that were made in order to restore the land, pride and dignity.


Mubarak confirmed that this symposium comes within a series of seminars and events organized by the university to celebrate this important national occasion that we will continue to celebrate throughout life so that our sons know the sacrifices made by the Egyptian people and the armed forces, and to invite honorable models of officers who participated in the war with the aim of communicating with students to consolidate the spirit of Patriotism, values ​​and belonging to the homeland, and knowledge of the challenges of national security in the modern era.
