The Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, organized an educational symposium under the title of Glaucoma and Occupational Safety in cooperation with the Egyptian Glaucoma Association,Within the framework of the ninth cultural environmental week of the college and the World Glaucoma Week, under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Abdel Rahman Adviser to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Qura, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Abdel-Rahman El-Sibai, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Dr. Mohamed El-Sawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals, headed by Dr. Farid Wagdy, Professor of Eye Diseases,And the Director of Crisis and Disaster Management at the college, and in the presence of a large number of faculty members, students, nursing staff, and university hospitals, Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Sibai stressed that crisis management is one of the important departments entrusted with studying potential crises and preventing them and spreading the culture of knowledge of crisis management among employees inside the college and university hospitals, and that the college is keen to educate workers on how to avoid injury at work and achieve complete safety for employees, faculty and university facilities
