The Adult Education Center at the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University, continues its awareness tours in the faculties of Menoufia University to invite students to actively participate in literacy and adult education, so it visited the Faculty of Home Economics.

Under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Abdel Rahman El-Bagoury, Advisor to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Sherif Sabry, Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Siham Aziz, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Salwa Saeed, Coordinator of Adult Education at the Faculty of Home Economics, and Dr. Heba Al-Ghammy, Director of the Adult Education Center at Menoufia University.

The meeting confirmed that there is a new approach by involving all sectors of the state in the field of literacy in accordance with the directions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to implement the 2030 sustainable development plan, and the important role played by the Faculty of Home Economics in educating citizens about the importance of education and conducting a number of awareness campaigns on the importance of the Hayat Initiative Karima and the various projects implemented by the presidential initiative.

The details of the procedures for participating in the national project to eradicate illiteracy and adult education and the incentives that students will receive were announced. The students also interacted with the delegation and opened the door for dialogue and questions about the procedures required to participate in the national project for literacy and adult education.
