The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Menoufia University, organized the annual celebration of the Orphan’s Day under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Bagouri, Advisor to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Dr. Nancy Asaad expressed her happiness with the honorable and cheerful organization of the celebration, stressing the importance of drawing a smile on the faces of our orphaned children, wishing them a bright future, and hoping that they will be university students in the prestigious Menoufia University in the future.
Al-Bagouri thanked and welcomed all the attendees and organizers of the celebration, pointing out that it is a small part of the university's pioneering role in helping its children, whether orphans or people with special needs, and the university with all its leaders always supportive of all social institutions of society.
The celebration included a large number of institutions and orphanages in Menoufia, , where approximately 250 children attended the ceremony.

Director General of the General Administration of Security at the university, Khaled Ajour, Director General of Public Relations and Media, Dr. Wael Fakhry, Director General of Environmental Projects, Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of Youth Welfare, Magda Aboul Gheit, General Director of the Vice President’s Office for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Alaa Fathi, Director General of Public Administration To serve the community and a group of faculty and support staff
On the sidelines of the celebration, the choir of the College of Early Childhood Education, led by Maestro Dr. Abdel Hamid Amer, presented a lyrical and musical concert, and the monologist Ibrahim Al-Masry presented comic shows, paragraphs of a skilled magician, and magic and comedy games, which brought joy and amazement in the hearts of children and attendees.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of in-kind and material gifts to the participating institutions and houses. The ceremony was organized by the General Administration of Environmental Projects, the General Administration of Youth Welfare, the General Administration of Public Relations and Media.
