Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, chaired the second management review meeting of the General Secretariat of Menoufia University in accordance with the ISO 9001/2015 standard, in the presence of Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the University, and Dr. Wafaa Zahran, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Rania Azmy, Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit and Mr. Ahmed Saleh, Director of the Department of Performance Development and Evaluation for Quality Assurance, assistant secretaries of the university, general managers of public administrations, directors of departments and a number of employees in various departments.
This meeting comes to review the General Administration of the Quality Management System within the university's activities and preparations to renew obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate version 2015, and to prepare for a visit to the awarding body of the ISO certificate, the Russian Register, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, 25/26 of this May.
Mubarak began his speech by thanking all the university’s students and everyone who contributed to the university’s obtaining the ISO certificate last year thanks to the cooperation and solidarity among all the university’s people who are united by the spirit of one team that works for the benefit of the university, stressing the importance of continuing to renew obtaining the certificate through the application of quality standards. He explained that the university is always keen to work with quality systems and apply its standards at all levels, not only in order to obtain the ISO certificate, but in order to ensure the quality of service provided in each department, and to be a permanent lifestyle within the university, which works hard to achieve its mission and be one of the leading universities in providing services. educational, research, and societal implementation of its strategic plan, which it set within the framework of the sustainable development of the state.
Mubarak indicated that Menoufia University’s strategic plan 2020/2030, which it developed in line with the Egyptian state’s strategy, which is being implemented on the ground under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, praising all the giant national projects that have been established, and there are still more national projects and initiatives The presidential election adopted by the President of the Republic for the benefit of the Egyptian citizen, shedding light on the Egypt’s Future Project for Agricultural Production, which was inaugurated yesterday to provide high-quality agricultural products at reasonable prices for citizens and export the surplus abroad, which contributes to reducing imports, providing hard currency and achieving sustainable development goals.
The President of the University has formed a committee to follow up on the implementation of the strategic plan and to prepare a report every three months on the extent of the achievement of each project included in the plan.
Dr. Rania Azmy reviewed the meeting’s agenda, an overview of the quality management project at the General Secretariat of Menoufia University, the position of previous management review decisions and recommendations, changes in internal and external factors related to the quality management system, information on the performance and effectiveness of the quality management system, the extent to which quality objectives are achieved, operations performance and product conformity and services, internal audit results, non-conformities and corrective actions, monitoring, measurement and control results, actions taken to address risks and opportunities.
