Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the university will witness special interest in the educational system and postgraduate studies in the next stage, indicating that units of a special nature will be fully activated to provide services to the people of the governorate and society, stressing that the coming period will witness great cooperation with the executive and community agencies to deliver University experiences and services to the community, with increasing the role of university hospitals to provide a distinguished medical service to the people of the province and neighboring provinces through the development of university hospitals and increase the capacity for them and the development of the reception department in the emergency hospital and services provided to patients who frequent university hospitals, in addition to working to link education with the labor market to qualify Young people sufficiently to obtain various job opportunities in the industrial and engineering sectors through the modernization of educational and training systems

El-Kased explained that an integrated strategy will be developed to make optimal use of the new university’s projects, which are the Menoufia National University at kilo 70 on the Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road, for which we developed an initial vision in 2018, then diligent work continued until the issuance of the Presidential Decree in 2022 to establish the Menoufia National University, which The study began with this world, in addition to the establishment of the Menoufia University Medical City, and the foundation stone for this integrated medical edifice was laid on August 27, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, marking the start of the immediate implementation of this giant project.

 

In addition, a horizontal donation of an area of (200 acres) has been allocated to the University of Menoufia with the system of transferring assets in the lands of Sadat City. The plan will include an extension to the private university, the establishment of new colleges, a technological university, lands for desert and non-traditional agriculture, student housing, a sports complex, a research center, and 6 specialized medical centers.
