Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, addressed a message to all members and affiliates of Menoufia University, affirming that the university’s fiftieth anniversary year carries many positive developments and achievements that reflect the tremendous effort and sincere work exerted by all university members during the past period, particularly in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation, which the university has placed at the forefront of its priorities since declaring the academic year 2025/2026 as the “Year of Quality” at Menoufia University, within the framework of an ambitious plan to promote the culture of quality and achieve academic and institutional accreditation across the university’s faculties.
The University President stated that declaring the Year of Quality was not merely a slogan, but was accompanied by a comprehensive action plan that included intensifying training and qualification programs, continuous follow-up with faculties, supporting quality assurance units, and extensive preparation for visits by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. These efforts contributed to achieving numerous accomplishments within a short period.
Prof. El-Kased added that the university has already begun reaping the rewards of these efforts after the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education announced the institutional accreditation of the Faculties of Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Agriculture, in addition to the accreditation of several academic programs in the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Agriculture. He affirmed that this represents a new achievement added to Menoufia University’s record and reflects the success of the university’s strategy in developing the educational process and achieving standards of quality and academic excellence.
The University President pointed out that all university members rose to the level of responsibility and spared no effort in achieving the desired goals, emphasizing that the spirit of teamwork, determination, and dedication was the main factor behind these successive successes, especially in light of the continuous visits by review and evaluation teams from the Quality Assurance Authority to several faculties applying for accreditation, most recently during the past week.
Prof. El-Kased explained that the university will continue its efforts during the coming phase to complete the accreditation journey across all faculties, expressing his hope that the remaining faculties will apply for accreditation during the coming months, in addition to seeking institutional accreditation for the university as a whole, thereby enhancing Menoufia University’s position among Egyptian and regional universities.
The University President stressed that academic and institutional accreditation is not the final destination, but rather an important step on the path of continuous development and achieving further success. He noted that the university’s ambitions extend to obtaining international accreditation, advancing in global rankings, achieving government excellence, and strengthening international cooperation and partnerships in support of the university’s future vision.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased extended his sincere congratulations to all university affiliates on the occasion of these distinguished achievements, affirming that what has been accomplished is the result of sincere collective work in which all university sectors participated with a unified team spirit. He also expressed his appreciation to faculty deans, vice deans, faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students for their continuous efforts throughout the preparation stages for accreditation visits.
The University President also extended special thanks to the University Quality Assurance Center and the quality units within the faculties in appreciation of their significant role and the considerable responsibilities they carried in following up quality files and preparing for accreditation. He praised their diligent work and continuous coordination, which contributed to achieving these successive accomplishments, affirming that the university will continue to provide full support to the quality assurance and accreditation system as one of the main pillars for developing university education and enhancing the university’s standing locally and internationally.
