Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education has issued its decision granting accreditation to the Faculty of Agriculture, Menoufia University, in a new achievement added to the university’s record in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation. This accomplishment reflects the university’s continuous commitment to developing its educational and research systems according to the latest national and international standards.

The University President affirmed that this achievement comes within the framework of the university’s strategy aimed at promoting a culture of quality and institutional excellence, as well as declaring the academic year 2025/2026 as the “Year of Quality and Government Excellence.” The university is also working to develop academic programs and the educational and research environment in line with modern developments, thereby contributing to preparing graduates capable of competing in the labor market and supporting sustainable development plans and Egypt Vision 2030.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased expressed his happiness with this achievement, which coincides with Menoufia University’s celebrations of its Golden Jubilee and the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment. He emphasized that the successive successes achieved in the field of quality assurance and accreditation reflect the tremendous efforts exerted by all university affiliates and the continuous support for developing academic, administrative, and research performance.

The University President pointed out that the Faculty of Agriculture at Menoufia University is one of the long-established faculties that possesses distinguished academic and research cadres and plays an active role in serving the agricultural sector and supporting development efforts through preparing scientifically and practically qualified graduates according to the latest educational and applied systems in various agricultural fields.

He also confirmed that the faculty’s accreditation is the result of collective work and integration among the University Quality Assurance Center, the faculty administration, faculty members, administrative staff, and the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit. He extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the faculty family under the leadership of Prof. Ahmed El-Khouly, Dean of the Faculty, as well as the vice deans, faculty members, teaching assistants, employees, and students for their sincere efforts that contributed to achieving this distinguished accomplishment.

The University President affirmed that Menoufia University continues implementing its ambitious vision toward completing the accreditation of all faculties and academic programs within the framework of a comprehensive plan aimed at obtaining institutional accreditation for the university, thereby strengthening its position among Egyptian and regional universities and consolidating a culture of quality and excellence across its various sectors. He also extended his thanks to the team of the University Quality Assurance Center under the supervision of Prof. Wafaa Zahran, Director of the Center.
