The post-graduate and research sector of the University of Menofia, headed by Dr. Ahmed Farag Alkased, Vice-President of the University for Graduate Studies, held its eighth session of the Council of Graduate Studies with the participation of members of the Committee, faculty of higher Studies and Research, and the Director-General of Cultural Relations. · Online via e-meeting platforms.

Dr. Ahmed Alkased started the session by congratulating the committee members on the occasion of the night of the half of Shabaan and the near advent of the holy month of Ramadan and the call for Egypt and the world countries to upset the affliction and safety and the end of the current pandemic.

During the meeting, Alkased stressed that all courses were uploaded on the electronic platforms and pointed out the need to continue communicating with students via e-mails and to allow the discussion of scientific messages according to the regulations set by the university ,that is the holding of the discussion of the valid form letters and the attendance is limited to the student and the committee of judgment, and representatives of the section, taking into account that the attendance of the members of the section is at the lowest possible limits and considering the transfer of the discussion through the internet If necessary, the student's relatives are permanently barred from attending the discussion and the external discussion is permitted if they cannot attend the discussion electronically via video-conferencing technology.

Alkased also explained that the language exam is being arranged electronically and details will be announced at the end of the week, along with the holding of courses for the development of teaching staff members electronically and registration is next week.

He pointed out that the work of scientific impersonation detection in the digital library and sending reports in electronic form continued, and that the committee approved the minutes of the previous session meeting and briefed them on follow-up of its execution from decisions.

The annual and semi-annual reports of some of the graduate students enrolled in the Masters and PhD degrees for the previous and current academic year were also briefed at the meeting, in addition to taking note of the scientific reports submitted by members of the scientific missions and the scientific reports submitted by the faculty members in the university, they attended conferences inside and outside the Egyptian and Arab universities.
