Under the supervision of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University of Menoufia, and in the framework of the comprehensive plan implemented by the Department of University Hospitals, the health service of university hospitals is being developed and modernized, including the upgrading of the infrastructure of all hospital service facilities. The Engineering Department of University Hospitals has completed a comprehensive modernization of the orthopaedic surgery rooms in the sixth floor of the main hospital.

Dr. Mahmoud Qura, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, explained that a comprehensive modernization of the orthopaedic surgery rooms has been carried out in line with the quality policies in health care and in implementation of the Protocols for the Control of Infection and the Egyptian Code of Hospitals.

For his part, the Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Mohamed Al-Sawa, pointed out that process wall isolation had been installed with PVC instead of traditional paints, and that the floors had been altered with epoxy antistatic instead of phenylene floors. The Sawi added that the operation illumination detectors had been replaced with high-quality energy-saving LED detectors, as well as increased storage capacity with sub-storage rooms and a separate bone bank room, and the relief area had been developed and the operating rooms had increased electricity exits.
