يقدم قسم الكيمياء الحيوية الإكلينيكية والمشخصات الجزيئية رسالة أكاديمية وخدمة مجتمعية، حيث يهتم القسم بتدريس التمثيل الغذائي لجميع انواع العناصر الغذائية والبيولوجيا الجزيئية والاسس الكيميائية لكثير من الامراض الوراثية والامراض الناتجة عن اختلال الايض او نقص المواد الغذائية وكذلك السرطان وامراض الكبد.
يقوم القسم بمنح درجات الماجستير والدكتوراة في الكيمياء الحيوية الاكلينيكية والمشخصات الجزيئية بالإضافة الى الاشتراك في التدريس للأقسام الإكلينيكية المختلفة لمرحلتي الماجستير والدكتوراه. كما يقوم بإجراء أبحاث علمية متقدمة للأمراض المختلفة باستخدام التقنيات المتطورة.
ولم يقتصر دور قسم الكيمياء الحيوية الإكلينيكية والمشخصات الجزيئية على المهام الأكاديمية والعلمية فقط، بل يقدم خدمة مجتمعية وذلك بإجراء معظم التحاليل الطبية الكيمائية الحديثة التي يحتاج اليها المرضي المترددين على معهد الكبد القومي.

The Head of Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Diagnostics Department word
The Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Diagnostics provides an academic mission and community service, as the department is interested in teaching the metabolism of all types of nutrients, molecular biology and the chemical basis of many hereditary diseases and diseases resulting from metabolic imbalance or lack of nutrients, as well as cancer and liver diseases.
The department awards master's and doctoral degrees in clinical biochemistry and molecular diagnostics, in addition to participating in teaching for the various clinical departments for the master's and doctoral levels. It also conducts advanced scientific research on various diseases using advanced technologies.
The role of the Department is not limited to academic and scientific tasks only, but also provides community service by conducting most of the modern chemical medical analyzes needed by patients visiting National Liver Institute.
