The Nile Chest Diseases Association will hold its tenth annual conference tomorrow, Thursday, in cooperation with the Chest Diseases Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, under the title “COVID and LUNG” under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, former Minister of Health Dr. Ashraf Hatem, former Minister of Health and Member of Parliament, Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Kased, Vice President of Menoufia University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of Menoufia University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Qora, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Faisal Gouda, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, and Dr. Hussein Nada Head of the Menoufia Physicians Syndicate and Dr. Ahmed Amer Khamis, Head of the Chest Diseases Department, headed by Dr. Ibrahim El-Mahlawi, Professor of Chest Diseases and President of the Nile Society, and in the presence of a large number of chest diseases doctors and various specialties.

The head of the conference indicated that the conference will address, for two days, through 6 scientific sessions, the new in the diagnosis and treatment of chest diseases, in addition to the treatments of the emerging corona virus and its impact on the lung, and talking about the treatment of negative effects on the lung after infection with the corona virus, its development and danger. The sessions also deal with how to deal with a corona patient or any other patient in intensive care, starting from his diagnosis until reaching the stage of Ventilator .
