Dr. Heba El-Ghotmy, Director of the Adult Education Center at Menoufia University, presented the achievements that have been made at Menoufia University within the framework of the national literacy project, as well as the participation of Menoufia University in the presidential initiative, a decent life to eradicate illiteracy for the beneficiaries of the Solidarity and Dignity Program, which was praised by the Supreme Committee, where the discussions ended in a set of important recommendations regarding activating this project and pushing it forward, by starting its implementation in all universities.


Under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Bagouri, Advisor to the President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.


This came during the sixteenth meeting of the Supreme Committee to follow up the implementation of the national project to eradicate illiteracy, which is implemented by Egyptian universities.


In the presence and presidency of Dr. El-Hilali El-Sherbiny El-Hilali, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Adult Education at the Supreme Council of Universities and former Minister of Education, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Sadiq, Vice President of Cairo University for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Sameh El-Maraghi, Vice-President of Beni Suef University for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Ashour El-Omary, Head of the Executive Body of the General Authority For Adult Education, and Professor Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director General of Technical Affairs of the Supreme Council of Universities
