MU President reviews the achievements' report of Education and Students Affairs sector.

Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held today the monthly session of the Menoufia University Council for the month of October 2021, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and member of the Council from abroad, Vice President of the University Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students Affairs  and Accountant Akram Abdel Dayem, Secretary General of the University and college deans.


During the session, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, presented a report on the achievements of the General Administration of Medical Affairs from September 2020 to August 2021, where the number of visitors amounted to 42,450 students, and the total amount of medical supplies and medicines that were disbursed to students was 6537853 pounds, and the total claims Hospitals 3324803 pounds, the total amounts paid to emergency students 817644 pounds, bringing the general total to 10 million and 685 thousand pounds.


Nancy  also presented the report of the General Administration of Youth Welfare on the number of students benefiting from solidarity in the period from July 2020 to September 2021, which amounted to 10,029 students, with a total disbursement of 501,0558 pounds.


She concluded her speech by presenting a report on the achievements of the General Administration of the university cities, which included a statistical statement of student capacity and students residing in the units of the university cities for the academic year 2020/2021 and the beginning of this academic year, and the amount of development and equipment that took place in the university cities, the Nutrition Services Center and the Youth Hostel (University Hotel), which included raising The efficiency of student furniture and raising the quality of student services provided to them and the preventive and precautionary measures taken to protect against the emerging corona virus, explaining that the support provided by the university to feed students in university cities amounted to 6 million and 820 thousand pounds during that period.
