Menoufia University got six medals during the participation in the sports meeting for people with disabilities for students of Egyptian universities, which was held in the youth city of Abu Qir in Alexandria during the period from 28/11 to 2/12.

The university delegation participated in the meeting under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and under the supervision of Captain Yasser Jamal, Director of Sports Activity, and Captain Ali Al-Sayed, where the university won a silver medal. And 5 bronze medals, and they were honored at the closing ceremony and were as follows:-

1- Bronze medal for the deaf and dumb football team.

2- Bronze Medal, Volleyball Team .

3- Weightlifting, silver medal for student Mahmoud Abdel Halim El-Sharqawy, Faculty of Commerce, weighing 57 kg

4- Bronze weightlifting for student Ahmed Talaat Abdel-Moaty, College of Mass Communication, weighing 49 kg

5- Weightlifting, a bronze medal for the student, Sherine Abdo Youssef Ward, Faculty of Arts, open weight

6- Athletics of short stature, a bronze medal for the student, Mai Samir Saber Abu Hashish, in the 100-meter sprint.
