The Crisis and Disaster Management at the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals, Menoufia University, organized a first aid course for students and employees of the faculty and hospitals in cooperation with the skills lab of the faculty, under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, Dr. Mahmoud Kora, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sibai, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed El-Sawy, Director of the Central Administration of University Hospitals.

Dr. Farid Wagdy, Professor of Eye Diseases and Director of Crisis and Disaster Management, confirmed that the training dealt with the principles of first aid in critical cases, heart and breathing crises, training in artificial resuscitation, and first aid for poisons, burns, fractures and eye injuries through theoretical lectures followed by a practical training workshop in the skills lab.

He explained that the training aims to achieve safety and protection from dangers for college staff and students, and the unit will continue continuous training on crisis management, evacuation plans and first aid to achieve the highest level of protection and safety for students and workers.
