Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Kased, Vice President of Menoufia University for Graduate Studies and Research, announced that during the meeting of the Supreme Council for Graduate Studies and Research today in its 59th session, headed by Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, the report on applied research at Menoufia University, which serves the region and the extent of its progress

Al-Kased added that the proposed axes for completing the research and the time plan for its completion were reviewed, noting that the council had approved the report and approved the proposed research axes, which include research in the areas of utilization and recycling of agricultural and industrial solid waste, and optimal handling of water Irrigation and treatment of agricultural and industrial wastewater, the axis of urban planning for the region, small projects, and entrepreneurship.

The council also reviewed some projects that have already been completed, such as the biofuel project from animal dung.

The council praised the university's efforts in integrating with the governorate's executive authority to find practical and workable research solutions for the advancement of the region.
