The candidate must have at least three years of teaching experience in the field of Information Systems. The candidate must be currently employed and active during the assignment period. The candidate should have practical experience in various fields of Information Systems, such as software development, databases, organizational management, information security, etc. The candidate must have previous experience with quality assurance requirements, documentation, and forms necessary for the self-evaluation study. The candidate must possess leadership and management skills, be able to work efficiently within a team, and demonstrate effective communication with colleagues, academic and administrative leadership. The candidate must have a proven professional record of integrity, commitment, and good conduct. The candidate should have an active role in student activities and services. The candidate should have the ability to work effectively with different departments and relevant stakeholders. The candidate should have vision and the ability to propose innovative solutions to challenges faced by program teams. Nomination and Selection Procedure: The department submits a nomination request for the program coordinator through internal nomination and election. The eligibility criteria for nomination are announced through the department’s official communication channels. The nomination period remains open for one week from the date of the announcement. Interested candidates submit a nomination request along with a CV (not exceeding three pages) to the department secretary. A committee is formed to review and verify the applications against the eligibility criteria, and non-compliant applications are excluded. A voting day is scheduled, and the number of votes must represent at least 90% of the department’s total voting power. The results are announced the following day, and the candidate with the highest number of votes is selected. In the event of a tie, a second round of voting is scheduled. A one-week period is allocated for filing appeals against the election results. A committee comprising faculty members from the college—50% of whom must be from the department—will be formed to examine the appeals. A re-election may be called if the committee deems it necessary. If no candidates apply, the Head of Department will be assigned as the Program Coordinator, and this will be officially announced.
