Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassed, President of Menoufia University, announced the activation of maximum readiness across all university hospitals, including the National Liver Institute and the Oncology Institute, to ensure the provision of advanced medical services and continuous emergency care for citizens during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

Dr. El-Qassed confirmed that the university has implemented a proactive plan to guarantee immediate and safe medical care, including enhanced staffing in emergency and intensive care units, and ensuring the availability of essential medications, medical supplies, and blood products to handle any potential surge in patient numbers during the holiday period.

Following these directives, Prof. Dr. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute, announced the adoption of an exceptional operational plan within the institute aimed at maintaining the highest levels of medical efficiency during Eid.

Prof. Dr. Hegazy stated:
"Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassed, all medical, nursing, and administrative teams at the institute have been mobilized, with duty rosters activated to ensure specialized medical teams are available across all critical departments 24/7. We have verified the readiness of operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology departments, and laboratories to guarantee rapid and precise diagnostics and urgent medical interventions."

He added that the preparedness plan included a thorough review of the strategic stock of medical supplies and essential drugs, while emphasizing strict adherence to infection control and quality standards. He also highlighted the institute’s integration with the university hospitals and the Ministry of Health to ensure smooth service delivery and minimize waiting times for emergency cases.

Dr. Hegazy concluded by reaffirming that the National Liver Institute, as a world-class medical institution in Menoufia, remains committed to its humanitarian and national role in providing high-quality healthcare, extending his congratulations to all medical teams working diligently during the holiday to serve patients.
