During Eid Al-Fitr: Dean of the National Liver Institute, Menoufia University, Conducts Extensive Field Inspection of Emergency and Surgical Departments

Dr. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute, carried out a comprehensive inspection tour of all critical departments within the institute. The visit was part of ongoing field monitoring to ensure the highest standards of medical care during official holidays, verifying the smooth operation and discipline of both medical and administrative staff during Eid Al-Fitr.

Accompanying the Dean were the institute’s executive leadership, including Dr. Mona Zanati, Director General of Medical Supply and Pharmacies; Dr. Haitham Younis, Director of Medical and Therapeutic Services; and Mr. Ali Sedka, Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs.

The tour covered all units operating emergency services around the clock. The Dean and his team inspected the emergency and endoscopy departments to ensure rapid response to critical cases and the availability of necessary medical supplies. They also visited operating rooms and intensive care units to monitor patient health and adherence to treatment protocols, neonatal and inpatient wards to check service quality for admitted patients, and administrative offices to review duty rosters and ensure the presence of administrative staff supporting the medical system.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Osama Hegazy emphasized the institute’s full readiness, saying:
"The National Liver Institute is a leading medical institution, and our humanitarian mission does not stop during holidays. Our primary goal is to ensure patient safety and provide superior medical care without compromise. Today, I witnessed great dedication from the medical and administrative teams who left their families during Eid to stand at the forefront of service. We remain committed to providing all logistical and medical support to maintain this exemplary performance."

The Dean and his accompanying delegation also took the opportunity to extend Eid greetings to the staff across all departments, appreciating their devoted efforts. They exchanged greetings with patients and their families, and directed the medical administration to remove any obstacles that might affect patient comfort, ensuring smooth care throughout the holiday period.
