Under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Qased for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students, Dr. Mahmoud Koura, Dean of the College and President of the Conference, and Dr. Abdel-Rahman El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Conference Rapporteur, the session was held Scientific Department of Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis headed by Dr. Ahmed Amer Khamis
Today included a scientific session headed by Dr. Ahmed Amer, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habashi, Dr. Sami Al-Dahdouh, and Dr. Jihan Ali. The session included four lectures on the antibodies to the Covid virus by Dr. Rana Al-Helbawi, a lecture on vaccinations by Dr. Asmaa Metwally, and its risks about anticoagulants and ways of using them by Dr. Asrar Hilal and a lecture on post-covid syndrome by Dr. Jehan Ali. The second session discussed a workshop on high flow Nasal cannula and insufflation conducted by Ed Mohamed El-Nadi, Professor of Al-Sadr at Al-Qasr Al-Ainy and a member of the Scientific Committee for Corona Virus, under the auspices of Total Care.
The recommendations of the chest session included expanding the use of phabotherm devices in Covid patients to reduce their need for respirators 2/ Using antibodies to the Corona virus at the beginning of infection for patients whose condition is expected to deteriorate to limit this development 3/ Encouraging citizens for one of the available vaccinations to limit the spread of the virus Breaking its severity and limiting the spread of mutants 4 / The need to operate clinics for the post-Corona syndrome that include different specialties from the chest, heart, physiotherapy, neuroscience and psychological to help patients get rid of post-Covid symptoms 5 / Not to overuse anticoagulants with therapeutic doses unless there is a medical need for that.
