Dr. Mohammed Al-Nomany, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, chaired the meeting of the Central Committee for Infection Control in University Hospitals, the second session of the academic year 2023/2024, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Sabri Ammar, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Sabri Al-Gammal, Director General of University Hospitals, and Dr. Hajez Al-Agizi. Director of the Oncology Hospital, and Dr. Sahar Ali, Director of the Infection Control Unit, in the presence of committee members.

During the meeting, the performance report for the past month and the rate of achievement and progress month after month in the infection control file within university hospitals were discussed. The steps being implemented and the adoption of infection control policies in the oncology hospital were also discussed in preparation for the hospital’s accreditation from the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Control.
