The regular meeting of the Medical Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Hussein Khaled, the former Minister of Higher Education and Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of Dr. Adel Adawi, the former Minister of Health and Secretary of the Council, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Al-Noamani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the deans of the faculties of medicine in various Egyptian universities, and members. Dr. Mohamed Al-Nomany, Dean of the College, explained that during the meeting, topics related to medical colleges from various Egyptian universities were discussed, including the addition of professional master’s programs in some specializations, as well as studying some of the internal regulations with the points system approved in postgraduate programs in some colleges, and amendments to the internal regulations. For the bachelor’s degree 5+2 in some medical colleges, and changing the names of some scientific departments and the names of their master’s and doctoral degrees.
