Synopsis:

Biochemistry is known as "Chemistry of life" as it includes the study of chemical process occurring in living organisms. Biochemistry has diverse application in our life. It can explain different process and reactions occurring in our bodies in both health and disease states.  

Biochemistry department teaches different curricula that cover the basic biochemistry science including structure of different biochemical molecules, metabolism of different nutrients, molecular biology, and biochemical changes in disease state. It also provides the student with the knowledge and skills needed to analyze different biological fluids constituents and to interpret their results.
