Pursuit of ICTP project to the activation of information technology services to reach the beneficiaries of college students , faculty and staff have been start-up units for information technology colleges . ICTP aims to create a unit of electronic services in all faculties of universities during the next five years, gradually by 20 % from the faculties of the University every year. These units are the link between the six projects submitted by the ICTP at the university level and between different colleges . These units are well designed to increase the effectiveness of projects universities ( network - management information systems - Training - Digital Library - e-learning - digital portal ) to provide excellent services in information technology for colleges .

Project Description:


This project aims to activate the information technology services at the college level to serve the educational process , faculty , students and staff , through the establishment of a unit for IT (Information Technology Unit) perform the following tasks :


- Operation and maintenance of network information.
- Update software devices.
- Maintenance of computers and printers.
- Running and activate the e-mail service for students and faculty members.
- To use the technical follow-up of the network and provide technical support for all users.
- Periodic updating of the college site on the Internet .
- Create space for each faculty member on the site so as to raise its own scientific materials and exams previous models answer .
- Use a tool to communicate Collaboration between students and faculty members , staff and management college.
- The provision of wireless networks to the Internet places open faculty be available to students and faculty members .
- Installation of the original licenses for operating systems and Office business software (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office) currently available through a contract done by the Supreme Council of Universities with Microsoft Corporation .
- Installation of anti-virus protection programs provided by the project to develop information systems and technology ICTP.
- Staff training college and faculty members on ICT by ICTP training center at the university.
- To provide a visual display devices and interactive screens for laboratories .
- Provide additional points altogether networks
- Resolve all faults in hardware and networking and coordination with the Network Information Center and University management information systems and e-learning center and library automation project and the training project .
- Provide technical support to users and beneficiaries especially :
- Application Project Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Automation Project Libraries
- E-learning project
- Infrastructure Project Information Network
- Training in the case of a college lab

Mechanism for implementation of the project :


1 - processing environment suitable for working through the preparation of the headquarters of the unit is equipped with plexiglass points connected with free Internet and good computers and appropriately furnished with furniture and Maystlzim of other tools .
2 - Develop a management structure for the Information Technology Unit , together with Palmsmy career and tasks for each member in the structure.
3 - choice for a suitable job has the ability and qualifications to enable it to meet all the business requirements and technological code.
4 - Training of team work on all applications used in the project in coordination with the managers of the university's development projects for transmission of accumulated experience in these sectors .
5 - workshops with project managers to make sure the university's development of the arrival of a team working for the level of patients and accommodate the requirements of these sectors and Msthdvathm in college.
6 - visualizing the desired objectives and tasks during the whole year with the index measuring can determine which of the follow-up rates of completion of those tasks .
7 - Develop a monthly plan undeclared ( individual - on - task) empowers the staff integration among themselves in the course of performing the functions desired .
8 - set a timetable on the basis of the foregoing for the implementation of targeted development projects within the college based on recommendations issued in workshops with the managers of these projects.
9 - to consider any additional requirements of the college in the areas of information technology , infrastructure, or any other qualitative requirement of the college may be useful in aspects of teaching and research .
