يتميز برنامج بكالوريوس الهندسة المعمارية بالآتي:
1. يعد برنامج الهندسة المعمارية من أول الإقسام التي أنشئت في إقليم الدلتا، وهو من أفضل المعاهد البحثية العامة في مصر.
2. يتقدم للقسم سنوياً من 300 إلى 400 طالب يتم ترشيح أعلى 100 طالب منهم للتقدم لاختبارات القسم ويقبل البرنامج 50 طالب منهم بحد أقصى.
3. لديه فريق مؤهل وذو كفاءة عالية من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة في المجالات المختلفة: التصميم المعماري، والتخطيط العمراني، والتخطيط الإقليمي، والتصميم الحضري، وتاريخ ونظريات العمارة، والتصميم البيئي، تنسيق المواقع، الحفاظ على التراث) مرفق
4. حصل خريجي البرنامج على مناصب عليا ومكانات مرموقة على المستويين المحلي والدولي.
5. يقبل الطلاب الوافدين من خليفات متنوعة (كاليمنيين والسوريين).
6. يزود الطلاب بمهارات متنوعة لتمكينهم من العمل في مجالات متعددة (العمارة والتخطيط في البيئات الريفية - تشييد المباني - التصميم الحضري- الحفاظ على التراث).
7. تقديم خدمة التدريب الميداني للطلاب من خلال المكاتب والشركات الاستشارية الخاصة ببعض من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بما يضمن جودة ما يتلاقه الطلاب.
8. التعاون مع الجامعات الدولية مثل الجامعة الألمانية في مقررات دراسة تقدم بالبرنامج بما يساعد الطلاب على اكتساب خبرات مختلفة من التعاون مع طلاب الجامعة الأخرى اثناء الدراسة والعمل معا داخل المقرر الدراسي.
9. حصول بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس على جوائز تشجيعية عن أعمالهم.

PROGRAM FEATURES:
The Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (B.Sc.) Program:
- Is among the first provincial established programs in the Nile Delta. It is among the top public research institutes in Egypt.
- Accepts a maximum of 50 students each year with 100 students nominated from at least 300 to 400 annually.
- Has a highly qualified and accomplished team of Programme and staff members in the fields of: architectural design, urban planning, regional planning, urban design, history and theories of architecture, environmental design, landscape, and heritage conservation.
- Graduates of the program have attained distinguished positioning and status on the local and international level.
- Embraces international students and students of diverse backgrounds such as Yemenis and Syrians.
- Provides students with a diverse skillset to enable them to work in several fields (architecture and planning in rural environments – building construction – urban design – heritage conservation).
- Providing field training service to students through the offices and consulting companies of faculty staff members to ensure the quality of what students receive.
- the Cooperation with international universities such as the GUC University in the study courses offered in the program, which helps students to gain different experiences from the cooperation with other university students during their work together within the course.
