تم وضع الأهداف  من قبل برنامج الهندسة المعمارية مقسمة إلى 3 فئات كالتالي:

• أهداف قصيرة المدى (أقل من عامين) ، أهداف متوسطة المدى (من عامين إلى 5 أعوام) ، أهداف طويلة المدى (أكثر من 5 أعوام)

1. الارتقاء بالمستوي العلمي للبرنامج:

• إنشاء صندوق لرعاية ودعم جميع الأنشطة والبحوث والتطورات التعليمية والمعدات والمرافق والتعليمية الحديثة، على أن يكون رصيد الصندوق عبارة عن: نسبة مئوية من الدخل من البرنامج المعماري الخاص الجديد، وصندوق القسم، ومركز البحوث والاستشارات الهندسية. (هدف متوسط المدى)
• عمل بروتوكولات تعاون مع مؤسسات أجنبية والمحلية التي ستدعم الأبحاث والخدمات وبرامج التبادل. (هدف متوسط المدى) 
• مراجعة المناهج الحالية وتوصيفات المقررات بهدف التركيز على القضايا المعمارية الجديدة للبقاء على اطلاع بالتطورات العالمية ودعم البحث العلمي مع المخرجات القابلة للتطبيق وتشجيع الأبحاث في مجال مواد البناء والابتكار العلمي.(هدف قصير المدى). 

2. تبني التفكير النقدي:

• مراجعة أهداف المقررات المختصة بالمجالات الرئيسية الثلاثة لبرنامج العمارة وهي: الهندسة المعمارية والتخطيط وتشييد المباني بهدف تحقيق الموازنة بينهم. (هدف متوسط المدى)
• مراجعة مخرجات التعلم للتأكد من أن الطلاب سيبدأون البرنامج بمزيد من مهارات المعرفة والفهم متبوعة بتحسين مهاراتهم العملية ورفع مستواهم الفكري (هدف قصير المدى)
• تنظيم ورش العمل والمؤتمرات الخاصة بمجالات برنامج العمارة تحت إشراف البرنامج. (هدف طويل المدى)
• مراجعة مخرجات التعلم وتوزيعها بين المقررات بهدف إنشاء تصميمات مسؤولة بيئياً للحفاظ على البيئة وإعادة تأهيلها؛ من خلال فهم شامل للتصميم الإنشائي والبناء والتكنولوجيا والمشكلات الهندسية المرتبطة بتصاميم المباني. (هدف قصير المدى)
• تزويد الطلاب بأجهزة الحاسب والاتصال بالإنترنت بالإضافة لمكتبة القسم لإبقائهم على علم بأخر مستجدات المجال. (هدف متوسط المدى)

3. تعزيز التواصل المجتمعي:

• نقل المبادئ المعمارية (جودة التصميم والاستدامة والبيئة والوظائف) وربطها بالمجتمع المحلي من خلال الندوات وورش العمل وتشجيع الطلاب على إجراء مسوحات ودراسات حالة ممنهجة. (هدف طويل المدى)
• ربط المناهج بالمجتمع المحلي والتراث. (هدف متوسط المدى)
• القيام بحملات للتوعية بقيمة التراث المحلي ومواد البناء المناسبة وتكنولوجيا البناء. (هدف طويل المدى)

4. التركيز على التدريب العملي والمهني في مقررات البرنامج:

• تنظيم وإعداد معارض لمواد البناء المختلفة في القسم. (هدف طويل المدى)
• تقديم برامج تدريبية متخصصة كمقدمة للسوق مخصصة لتحسين مهاراتهم العملية من خلال المشاريع المحلية والوطنية، المجموعات الهندسية الاستشارية، والشركات / الاستوديوهات المعمارية. (هدف متوسط المدى)
• البحث في مواقف خريجي البرنامج المعينين في المؤسسات المحلية بالمنوفية والوصول لتوصيات لتحسين هذا الوضع ومعالجة أي قصور إن وُجِد. (هدف قصير المدى)

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The following are objectives set by the Program of Architectural Engineering divided into three categories, short term (less than 2 years), intermediate term (2 to 5 years), and long term (more than 5 years):

1. Enhance/Upgrade the educational level of the Program:

• Establish a fund to sponsor the modern teaching equipment and facilities, educational activities, researches, and developments. The balance of the fund will include a percentage of the income from the new private architectural program, the faculty's researches and consultations unit, and the program fund. (Intermediate Term)
• Sign protocols with foreign and local institutions which will support research exchanges, services, and exchange programs. (Intermediate Term)
• Revise existing curriculum and course descriptions in order to focus on new architectural research issues to stay up to date with global advances and support scientific research with applicable outputs and encourage research in building materials and scientific innovation (Short Term)

2. Adopt critical thinking:

• Revise the objectives of all courses related to the fields of architecture, planning, and building construction in order to balance the three main venues of the Architectural Program. (Intermediate Term)
• Revise course ILOs to assure that the students will start the program with more knowledge and understanding followed with more refining of their practical skills and raising their intellectual level. (Short Term)
• Organize workshops and conferences under the program’s supervision for the three main venues of the Architectural Program. (Long Term)
• Revise course ILOs and their distribution to help generate ecologically responsible and environmental conservation and rehabilitation designs; through a thorough understanding of structural design, construction, technology, and engineering problems associated with building designs. (Short Term)
• Provide the students with computer and internet access in addition to the departments’ library to help them stay current and updated with the recent developments. (Intermediate Term.

3. Promote community connectivity:

• Convey the architectural principles (quality of design, sustainability, environment, and functionality) and relating them to the local community through seminars, workshops and encourage the students to carry out systematic surveys. (Long Term)
• Connect the curriculum with the local community and heritage. (Intermediate Term)
• Carry out campaigns to raise awareness regarding the value of the local heritage, appropriate building materials, and construction technology. (Long Term)

4. Accentuate the practical and professional trainings in the curriculum of the program:

• Organize/Set up exhibitions of building materials in the department. (Long Term)
• Provide specialized training programs for the students as an introduction to the market dedicated to improving their practical skills through local and national projects, engineering consultant groups, and architectural firms/studios. (Intermediate Term)
• Research the positions of the graduates of the program hired/appointed in local institutions in Menoufia and conclude with recommendations to adjust such positioning and address any shortcomings if found. (Short Term)
