يسعي برنامج اعداد معلمي رياض الأطفال لإعداد معلمين قادرين على أداء أدوارهم التعليمية -البحثية -المجتمعية داخل رياض الأطفال   متسلحين بمجموعة من المعارف والمهارات التي تساعدهم على التعامل مع طفل الروضة . 

ويتميز هذا الاعداد بالتكامل والتوازن بين المعرفة النظرية والمعرفة المهنية  وتنمية أشكال التفكير المختلفة ( التفكير العلمي ـ التفكير الناقد ـ التفكير الابداعي ) والتمكن من مهارات التعلم الذاتي والمستمر بصورة تجعلهم .

قادرين على التعامل مع الأسرة والمشاركة بفاعلية في الأنشطة التي تسعى لتطوير الروضة وخدمة المجتمع المحلي في إطار معايير الجودة . 

كما يهدف  البرنامج إلى تطوير المناهج وفق الاحتياجات المهنية والاتجاهات العالمية، وتعريف الطلاب بأساليب التعليم الحديثة والقدرة على التعرف على احتياجات الأطفال، والمشاركة في تصميم الأنشطة التعليمية، واستخدام أساليب تعليمية مناسبة، بالإضافة إلى إدارة بيئة التعلم والتقييم والالتزام بأخلاقيات المهنة.

The program aims to update curricula to meet professional, scientific and global needs, build an educational system that keeps pace with local and international developments, provide students with freedom of choice in specializations that suit their inclinations, improve academic excellence, achieve students’ scientific aspirations and ensure the quality of education by identifying the knowledge and skills necessary for graduates.

The kindergarten teacher preparation program seeks to prepare students capable of performing their various roles within society, armed with a set of knowledge and skills that help them deal with the child.

This preparation is characterized by integration and balance between theoretical knowledge and professional knowledge, and the development of different forms of thinking (scientific thinking, critical thinking, creative thinking). And to master self-learning and continuous learning skills in a way that enables them to deal with the family and participate effectively in activities that seek to develop the kindergarten and serve the local community within the framework of quality standards.

The program also aims to develop curricula in accordance with professional needs and global trends, introduce students to modern teaching methods and the ability to identify children’s needs, participate in designing educational activities, use appropriate teaching methods, in addition to managing the learning and assessment environment and adhering to professional ethics.
