Meeting of the Dean of the National Liver Institute with the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research

On Sunday, Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute, met with Prof. Iman Abdelsami’ — Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research — to discuss several important topics, most notably:

First: The regularity of the educational process in the second semester following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, and the various preparations for the second term exams. This includes forming examination control committees, ensuring compliance with the required standards and regulations for exam papers in accordance with quality criteria, as well as forming examiner committees.

Second: The current status of the Institute's journal, discussing ways to develop it, work towards issuing regular periodic editions, and taking all necessary measures to expand its publication reach.

Third: Discussing the launch of several professional diplomas in various specializations, which would enhance the educational and training role of the National Liver Institute on both regional and international levels.

Fourth: Reviewing the report on the outcomes of the Institute’s Unified Conference held on February 13th, and setting a future plan for the scientific activities of the current year, including scientific seminars and various workshops, along with the general ideas for the second Unified Conference of the Institute, which is planned to be held in April 2026, God willing.
