Meeting of the Dean of the National Liver Institute and Chairman of the Hospital Board with the Executive Office Members of the Institute’s Hospital

Today, Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute and Chairman of the Hospital Board, met with the executive office members of the Institute’s hospital. The meeting was held in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Atiya, Executive Director of the Institute’s Hospital, and Prof. Islam Ayyoub, General Manager of the Hospital.

The meeting covered the discussion of several important topics, most notably:

First: Prof. Osama Hegazy extended his thanks and appreciation to all unit directors for their outstanding performance during the past period. He also congratulated the directors whose assignments were renewed for the upcoming term, wishing them continued success.

Second: Discussion of work plans for the upcoming phase and setting key priorities, foremost of which is improving the quality of medical services in line with quality standards to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Third: Discussing the necessary preparations for the final accreditation by the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation.

Fourth: Discussion on how to develop and enhance the liver transplantation program, including setting future plans to raise awareness among patients and their families about the importance, indications, and requirements of liver transplantation, as well as ways to facilitate the procedures necessary for transplantation.
