Today, the Post-Graduate and Research Sector of the University of Menoufia held the session of the Council for High Studies of the University Libraries Committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-kased, Vice-President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, with the participation of members of the Committee on online platforms.

Together with the members of the Higher Studies Committee, he reviewed the conduct of the postgraduate examinations at the faculties and institutes of the University and stressed the need to take all precautionary and preventive measures to reduce the infection of the corona virus and to protect students during the examination.

He noted that the Committee had discussed the University and Faculty Plan for Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies for the current academic year and the precautionary measures taken to protect scholars and faculty from the enemies of the Corona virus.

In accordance with the decision of the Higher Council of Universities, universities and institutes would extend the current academic year initially for three weeks to complete the study plan for the various scientific disciplines. The session also addressed topics for the work of the General Administration of Higher Studies.

The Committee endorsed the minutes of the previous meeting and took note of the follow-up to its decisions, as well as the annual and semi-annual reports of some graduate students enrolled in master's and doctoral degrees for the previous and current university year, as well as for scientific reports from members of scientific missions and scientific reports from members of the University's teaching staff on their attendance at conferences within the University and abroad at Egyptian and Arab universities .

During the meeting of the Committee on Libraries, the Vice-President of the University of Menoufia for Graduate Studies announced the outcome of the committee formed to select the best library among the libraries of the University's faculties and institutes, with the first place in accordance with the evaluation criteria, the library of the School of Electronic Engineering and the first place duplicative of the library of the School of Engineering.The second place is the Library of the Faculty of Science, the second place duplicate is the Library of the Faculty of Nursing and the third place is the Library of the Faculty of Arts in terms of the services provided, the number of beneficiaries  and visitors of the library and the use of precautionary procedures.
