Menoufia Agriculture issues important recommendations for indian corn

The Faculty of Agriculture, Menoufia University, issued several technical recommendations for indian corn that must be taken into account during the month of July to achieve the highest productivity, through an awareness and guidance convoy in the village of Dabriki, Menouf Center, in coordination with the Directorate of Agriculture in Menoufia Governorate.

The organizers of the caravan activities emphasized taking into account technical points related to cultivation in the new lands under the sprinkler or drip irrigation system, during which irrigation periods are every 1-3 days depending on the nature of the soil and weather conditions, while in the limestone lands, the irrigation periods range between 7-12 days according to the strength of the caravan. Soil and weather conditions, and they also explained that in the event of an insect infestation with aphids appearing before and during flowering, one of the recommended insecticides can be sprayed, and some severely infested spikes can be removed. Ripe them, explode them, put them in plastic bags and burn them, taking into account not to feed the animals.

The events are under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Bagouri, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Ayman Hafez Issa, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. Ibrahim Husseini Darwish, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Yasser Mohamed El-Shahat, assistant teacher in the Crops Department, lectured.
