This workshop is part of a series of training courses organized by the General Administration of Libraries at Menoufia University, with the aim of training library specialists on a set of programs that assist researchers in producing distinguished scientific research in accordance with modern academic standards. The workshop was presented by Engineer Amal Ahmed Abdel Hamid, an engineer at the Faculty of Agriculture Library at Menoufia University. She highlighted the importance of accurately and systematically documenting sources as a fundamental pillar of any successful scientific research, helping to raise the quality of scientific production. She also provided a detailed explanation of Zotero, the leading reference management software, explaining its mechanism and how it can be used effectively to organize sources and generate accurate reference lists, consistent with various approved scientific standards. She also highlighted the practical benefits the software offers researchers in terms of facilitating the documentation process, saving time, and ensuring a high level of professionalism in reference writing, which directly contributes to improving the quality of scientific research.
