New Student Welcome Events for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

The Faculty of Computers and Information at Menoufia University launched its new student welcome events for the 2025/2026 academic year. The event was held in a joyful atmosphere prepared by former students, with the participation of the college's Student Union and its student families (Alef Family, Compiler, Mafex, the Theater Team, ICPC, and the Rover Clan), in cooperation with the college's Youth Care Department. The college was honored by the visit of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Qassed, President of Menoufia University; Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, who attended the reception. They were received by Prof. Dr. Hatem Mohamed Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the College; Prof. Dr. Hamdy Moussa, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Abdel Ghani El-Barmawy, Director General of the College; Ms. Nisreen Abdel Hadi, Director of Youth Care at the College; Ms. Asmaa Taha, Head of the Youth Care Department at the College; Mr. Mustafa El-Mehi, Head of the Youth Care Department at the College; and Mr. Mohamed Abu Shanab, College Security Officer. The University President and his entourage also toured the college, going up to the lecture halls where they met with first-year students. He congratulated them on the start of the new academic year, wishing them a successful academic year filled with diligence and hard work. In his address to the students, the University President emphasized the university's commitment to its students, considering them the makers of the future and leaders of tomorrow. He emphasized the importance of commitment, discipline, and making the most of the educational process. He also emphasized student activities that contribute to building a well-rounded personality. The event included an art exhibition organized by the college's Rover Clan, showcasing a variety of artworks, including handicrafts, glassware, origami, recycling creations, and string art. This added a distinctively creative atmosphere to the welcome day. The event concluded amidst an atmosphere of joy and optimism, as the new students expressed their happiness at beginning their university journey at the College of Computers and Information, pledging to make every effort to achieve excellence and success.
