Chaired by the Dean of the National Liver Institute, Menoufia University: Hospital Board Reviews Development Plan at Its First Meeting for Fiscal Year 2026/2027

Professor Dr. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute and Chairman of the Hospital Board of Directors, chaired the Board's first meeting for the 2026/2027 fiscal year. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Ahmed Attia, the Hospital's Executive Director, along with members of the Board, as part of the Institute's regular follow-up on the medical work system.

Dr. Hegazy opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and commending the exceptional efforts made by the medical and administrative staff. He emphasized that the Institute's recent achievements reflect the team's dedication and commitment. He further stressed that the Institute's administration places the support of all medical units and the provision of the necessary resources at the top of its priorities to ensure sustainable development and achieve the highest standards of quality in healthcare and research services.

He also reaffirmed the Institute's commitment to moving forward with comprehensive modernization plans, with a particular focus on expanding the specialized medical services that distinguish the Institute, in line with the state's vision of providing advanced healthcare that meets the expectations of Egyptian citizens.

For his part, Dr. Attia reviewed the strategic plan currently being implemented by the administration, which aims to enhance institutional performance and strengthen coordination among departments to ensure the delivery of medical services in accordance with the highest safety standards. The meeting also addressed initiatives to support human resources and ongoing efforts to provide the latest medical equipment and supplies. Participants emphasized that cooperation among all sectors of the Institute remains the cornerstone for achieving significant milestones during the coming phase.
