Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, honored the champion students who won advanced positions in the sports meeting for people with disabilities for male and female students of Egyptian universities, which was organized by the Ministry of Youth in the Youth City in Alexandria.
The honoring ceremony was attended by Prof. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and deans of faculties.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased congratulated the distinguished students with disabilities, praising their performance in the sports meeting and their keenness to represent the university in an honorable manner.
He also congratulated the distinguished students in scientific activities and ideal students, noting that
The university puts all its capabilities to serve and care for its students to practice all student activities in light of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education on the necessity of supporting talented students and strengthening and enhancing the spirit of one team among students.
The President of the University also stressed the importance of practicing student activities that go hand in hand with the students' academic achievement.
The envoy honored the male and female students by presenting them with cash and in-kind prizes and certificates of appreciation for their advanced positions during the tournament. He also took commemorative photos with the delegation that participated in the events. The envoy praised the efforts of the teams that participated in the competitions in the games.
The university president also honored Prof. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of Student Care, and the officials of the sports activity, namely Captain Yasser Gamal, Director of the activity, Captain Mahmoud Hafez, Official of Students with Special Needs, Captain Yasser El-Sayed, Coach of the Goalball Team for the Blind, and Jihan Sami, Supervisor of the Female Students. He also honored Mervat Arafa, Director of Scientific and Technological Activity, and Dr. Fathallah El-Shura, Official of the Activity, on the sidelines of honoring the ideal male and female student at the university level and honoring the male and female students who participated in the Smart Education Hackathon competitions organized by Benha University.
The honoring included students Mohamed El-Sayed Abdel Salam, Abdel Aziz Ashraf, Mohamed Nasser, and Mustafa Mohamed, Faculty of Media, for winning first place in goalball, Ahmed Hesham Abdel Maqsoud, Faculty of Specific Education, for winning first place in weightlifting, Amr Osama El-Beltagy, Faculty of Specific Education, for winning first place in athletics, Mohamed Mostafa El-Tarras, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia, for winning second place in weightlifting, Jana Abdel Maqsoud Fawzy, Faculty of Commerce, for winning second place in weightlifting, Shaimaa Nasser El-Kassas, Faculty of Specific Education, for winning second place in weightlifting, Amal Fawzy El-Saadany, Faculty of Commerce, for winning second place in table tennis for short stature, Moamen Ashmawy Khaseer, Faculty of Engineering, Menoufia, for winning third place in athletics, Sayed Ayman El-Gaara, Faculty of Law, for winning third place in weightlifting, Sara Sherif Saad, Faculty of Arts, for winning third place in athletics, and Mariam Abdel Nabi Mohamed, Manar Fays Ahmed, and Salma Mohamed Tawfiq, Faculty of Specific Education, for winning third place in athletics, weightlifting, and table tennis. At the level of the ideal student, the university president honored the student Mohamed Mohamed Farouk, Faculty of Medicine, for obtaining first place at the university level, and second place went to the student Abdel Rahman El-Sayed Mohamed, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, and third place went to the student Moamen Ashmawy Khedr, Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menoufia.
At the level of female students, the first place went to the student Nouran El-Sayed Niazi, Faculty of Dentistry, second place went to Nada Samir Gabriel, Faculty of Medicine, and third place went to Sondos Mohamed El-Sayed, Faculty of Dentistry.
The envoy honored the male and female students who participated in the Artificial Intelligence Applications Hackathon (Smart Education) competition recently organized by Benha University, and Menoufia University obtained second and third place, namely Mohamed Mamdouh, Omar Adel, Omar Yasser, Omar Ibrahim, Menatallah Madhat, Mahmoud Hamdy, Marwan Mohamed, Mervat Mohamed, and Maya Ahmed Zaher.
