Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, held the University Council session for the month of January 2021, in the presence of members of the Council, Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development, a member of the Council from abroad, and Vice-Presidents of the University Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased  for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad for Education and Students, Dr. Abdel-Rahman Al-Bagouri for Community Service Environmental Development, Accountant Akram Abdel Dayem, Secretary General of the University, and Deans of Faculties.

Mubarak confirmed at the beginning of the session that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, has attached great importance to education and scientific research since his assumption of the presidency, and there is a clear development in the quality of education index at all levels, and Egypt's progress in the global rankings for the quality of education, indicating the interest in establishing universities and adding new specializations and programs according to The international standards for graduating distinguished students are in line with the requirements of the labor market, and the general direction of establishing private universities and their important role in providing a distinguished educational service to students through non-profit education and giving an opportunity to those who have the ability to bear the cost of education in an acceptable manner through private universities, and to relieve pressure on public universities.
