The university president commends the fruitful cooperation and distinguished organization of the minister's visit activities
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired the regular meeting of the university council in the presence of council members Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary-General of the University, and deans of faculties.
The university president began the session by congratulating His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the Egyptian people, and the sons and employees of the university on the occasion of the approaching holy month of Ramadan, may God return it to everyone with goodness, blessings, and blessings.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, on his behalf and on behalf of the University Council, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for his visit to the university and his participation in laying the foundation stone for the expansions of the Oncology Institute and the Specialized Surgery Hospital and the opening of outpatient clinics at the university hospital and dental clinics, in addition to an inspection tour of Menoufia Private University, expressing his appreciation for the Minister's support and efforts in enhancing the higher education process, noting that this visit reflects the Minister's interest in higher education institutions and their development, stressing that such visits contribute to enhancing cooperation between the university and the ministry to achieve common goals in serving the educational process and scientific research, noting that the Minister, during the last Supreme Council session, praised the achievements and development he witnessed in the medical facilities at Menoufia University, especially the Medical City project and the start of its first phase, which includes the expansions of the Oncology Institute, which is one of the most important medical facilities for providing specialized medical care in the field of oncology and improving the quality of health care. The University President also thanked the Governor for his continuous support and effective cooperation in making the visit of the Minister of Higher Education a success. He expressed his appreciation for the great efforts made by the Governor to facilitate this visit and enhance cooperation between the University and the Governorate, which reflects the common keenness to support the higher education process and improve academic and research services. He also stressed that this support is a great example of cooperation between institutions to achieve national goals.
Finally, the President of the University thanked all those who contributed to organizing the visit of the Minister of Higher Education, expressing his gratitude for the great efforts made by the University's work team to ensure the success of the visit, praising the fruitful cooperation and distinguished organization that reflects everyone's commitment to presenting an honorable image of the University. He also stressed that these efforts express the team spirit and teamwork that contribute to achieving the University's goals and enhancing its academic standing.
During the meeting, the President of the University congratulated Prof. Yasser Saad Ramah on the issuance of a decision to assign him to act as Dean of the College of Applied Health Sciences Technology, wishing him success in performing his duties.
The envoy resumed the session by reviewing the most important activities that took place during the current month of February, the most important of which was participating in filling aid boxes within the relief convoys directed to support the people of the Gaza Strip and inspecting the work of preparing urgent humanitarian and relief aid, which includes all basic needs of food aid and living supplies, which are carried out in full coordination between the executive bodies in the governorate, the Red Crescent Society, civil society organizations, businessmen and the university to provide the needs of our brothers in the Gaza Strip.
And the opening of the 24th Ambulance Pharmacy, Menoufia University branch, in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Fotouh Al-Tawil, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Egyptian Company for Drug Trading at the Medical Complex, which is the first of its kind in the governorate to provide medicines, shortages and alternatives.
Receiving a high-level medical delegation from Chinese universities to participate in the workshops and activities of the first conference of the departments of the National Liver Institute at the university. The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between Menoufia University and Chinese universities. The meeting also reviewed the most important achievements of the university in the field of education, medical service and hospital equipment.
He expressed his happiness on the occasion of the Faculty of Media winning second and third places in the media campaigns and radio programs at the ninth Al-Shorouk Festival for Media Students' Creativity held at the International Higher Institute of Media in Al-Shorouk.
The Faculty of Engineering's team for electric cars "MRT" won seventh place in its first participation in the electric car marathon in the State of Qatar, which was organized by Shell International Company among 124 teams from all countries of the world.
The university president pointed to the movement of assignments and transfers that took place between general managers and college secretaries within the framework of the continuous development of the university's administrative apparatus and its various units and the university's continuous efforts to improve the level of performance in the administrative apparatus.
The attendees were briefed on the reception activities of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Ghani, Head of the Central Administration for Expatriate Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education, and his accompanying delegation, at the head of a large number of expatriate students from various Egyptian public and private universities, on a scientific visit to the National Liver Institute and the Cancer Institute.
