Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, witnessed the opening of the fifty - third virtual session of the General Conference of the Federation of Arab Universities, hosted by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday and Thursday, 7-8 April.

The events of the first day of the session included 53 speeches by Dr. Ahmed Abu Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Prince Mohammed bin Fahed bin Abdulaziz, Dr. Amr Azzat Salam, Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Universities, and Dr. Essa Al Ansari, President of the University of Prince Mohammed.

The meetings dealt with the presentation of the reports of the General Secretariat of the Federation on the ratification of the record of the fifty-second session of the General Conference of the Federation of Arab Universities, convened by the University of Halwan in Sharm el-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, in March 2019, and follow-up on the implementation of its resolutions.

A presentation on the Arab University Classification project, the project to document and protect university degrees, a presentation on the periodical platform, a presentation on the Arab-European Network for University Leadership Training, and a discussion of the operation of an agreement between the Federation and Corsera companies in the Middle East were also discussed during the session.
