Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University of Menoufia, opened the Eighth World Scientific Conference of the Department of Liver and Pancreatic Surgery, bile ducts and Liver Transplantation at the National Liver Institute. Which is being done in collaboration with Online Anesthesia and Intensive Care due to the conditions of the Corona pandemic.

Mubarak pointed out that, over the course of two days, the Conference discussed challenges in liver, pancreatic and perinatal surgeries, with the presence of interferometric rays, through six scientific sessions, with 50 scientific lectures on new liver surgeries, liver tumors and pancreatic oncology. The new liver transplantation channels are provided by a live donor to adults and children, as well as the maximum use of liver transplantation programmes for the newly deceased and their application in Egypt to serve the Egyptian patient and the health system.

Selected professors of liver and pancreatic surgery, bile ducts and liver transplantation from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and Japan participate in the teleconference.
