Under the patronage of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.. Today, Dr. Salwa Fouad, General Coordinator of Expatriates at Menoufia University, headed to the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo, where she met By Prof. Nagy Al-Nagy, Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo, and Mr. Selim Al-Talouli, Head of Universities Affairs and Student Activities at the attaché, in continuation to support the bonds of cooperation between the Palestinian Cultural Attaché and Menoufia University.

The attaché is very keen on the participation of its Palestinian students in all the events that are held at the university, the most important of which is their participation in the first peoples’ forum at the university.. In return, the university is keen to overcome all the obstacles that may face the students of the Palestinian community.

In the meeting, His Excellency welcomed Dr. Salwa Fouad, the general coordinator of expatriates at the university, where the general coordinator presented and clarified all the activities and services provided by the expatriate administration to students and the great interest in taking care of them and containing them in the faculties of Menoufia University, as well as the advantages of joining the university and facilities in residency and passport procedures.

She also pointed out that the basic study system at the university is the credit hour system in most faculties without any increase in expenses, and that the special programs (with fees) are characterized by competitive prices compared to other universities.

A detailed presentation was made of the general and distinguished programs in the various faculties of the university, confirming the extent of the excellence and development of the technological and medical sector at the university.

It also emphasized the modern technical specializations, especially the specialization of cyber security, as well as the interest in the specializations that care for people with special needs, where it was noted that there are a group of distinguished programs for dealing with people with special needs, which are represented in:

- Program for preparing a computer teacher for people with special needs in the Faculty of Specific Education.
- Cognitive and Communication Sciences Program at the Faculty of Arts.
- Special Education Teacher Preparation Program at the College of Education.
- Preparation program for the special education teacher (mental disability) at the College of Early Childhood Education.

There is also a specialization in cyber security at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, and a specialization in cybersecurity engineering and data analytics in the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, as well as the programs of the Faculty of Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Food Science, Renewable Energy, Surveying, Medical Engineering, Health Science Technology Programs, Occupational Therapy Programs, and the National Liver Institute’s specializations.

Dr. Salwa Fouad confirmed that the university does not hesitate to provide a distinguished educational service to its students and to pay attention to all the new and distinguished disciplines that suit the labor market, and that the university in its various faculties is in full swing to receive international students in the academic year 2022/2023 and that preparations for their reception have already begun, and the extent of the expatriate administration’s keenness on Overcoming all obstacles for international students in general, and direct communication will be made with the Palestinian Cultural Attaché to quickly identify any problem that Palestinian students may face and quickly solve it.. She indicated that most Palestinian students are enrolled in the faculties of medicine, computers, information, science, commerce and engineering.

The cultural advisor, Nagy Al-Nagy , has confirmed their interest in modern and rare specialties, especially those concerned with emergency medicine, critical cases, people with special needs, and medical engineering.

Professor Selim Al-Talouli, who is responsible for university affairs and student activities at the attaché, presented a set of problems facing international students, as they were discussed and emphasized on overcoming and solving these problems.

In support of the relations between Menoufia University and the cultural attaché of the State of Palestine, the university’s shield was donated to the attaché, and the university attaché was donated a valuable volume on the history of Jerusalem as an expression of the bonds of good relations between the two parties.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Ghada Abu Al-Saud, Director of the Expatriates Department at Menoufia University, and Ms. Nesma Moussa, a researcher at the Expatriates Department.
