Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting of the Scientific Research Account Unit Board of Directors for the month of February "online" via electronic platforms with the participation of committee members.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased began the meeting by congratulating the committee members and university staff on the advent of the month of Shaaban, praying to God to grant Egypt and its people the month of Ramadan and to perpetuate the blessings of security and safety under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that the committee approved the minutes of the previous session and discussed any new work.

During the meeting, El-Kased stressed the need to follow up on the implementation of research plans in the university's faculties to confront the various challenges facing Egyptian society in the economic, social, health and environmental fields, and to activate the role of scientific research in confronting the problems of industry and society and the state's development plans.

The envoy added that the committee agreed to refund the tuition fees paid by some of the assistant faculty members registered to obtain scientific degrees and registered for master's and doctoral degrees outside the university.

The committee also approved the request of some of the university's colleges to enhance the research and experiments item to complete the research and experiments related to scientific research for faculty members and assistant faculty.

The envoy directed the colleges to increase the number of applied research projects that have an actual applied return to serve the research process and students at the university, and to provide an attractive environment for scientific research within the colleges and to enhance the culture of scientific research.
