Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the Faculty of Science as part of his periodic tours to follow up on the regularity of the educational process in the second semester of the current academic year. He was received by Prof. Hassan Aliwa, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Yasser Kamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hani Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Suhaila Ibrahim, Director General of Maintenance.

El-Kased inspected the lecture halls and classrooms, and reassured the presence of faculty members and students and the regularity of lectures.

The President of the University also followed up on the College's preparations for a visit by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit for the scientific departments of the College.

He inspected the modernization work of the central laboratory and computer labs at the College in accordance with the requirements of quality, security and safety. The President of the University inspected the Museum of the Department of Zoology, in addition to inspecting the library and the Measurement and Evaluation Center.

It is worth noting that the college includes an LC/MC device, which is one of the analytical chemistry techniques that combines physical separation capabilities with mass spectrometry capabilities. The advantages of this combination of techniques are exploited in analyzing the biochemical and organic compounds usually found in complex samples, as the LC/MS device is used in a wide range of sectors, including biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry.
