Menoufia University Council approved  at its recent session , headed by Dr. Moawad El Khouly , the university president on a proposal of the council of Community Service and Environmental Development, to  raise the value of the environmental excellence contest prize between faculties of the university for the academic year 2015/2016 to become ten thousand pounds, and the council also  approved on  restructuring the committee of Environmental Excellence to be formed from  Dr. Mohammed Abu al-Hasan , vice dean of Faculty of Science for community service and environmental chief , and the membership of vice deans for  environment at faculties of Specific Education and Home Economics and Electronic Engineering, and the Secretary General of the university and the general director of the General Administration of the environmental projects, and general manager for Community Service, and director of the university facilities management.
