Menoufia University Council hold its monthly session  under the chairmanship of  Dr. Moawad Al-Khouly, President of Menoufia University and with the presence of  Vice Presidents of the university  Dr. Adel Mubarak, Vice President for Education and Students, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kassed for Graduate Studies, Dr. Abdul Rahman Qarman for Community Services and Environment Development.
The university president opened the session by mourning the  student Norhan Abdul Ghaffar, the student at Faculty of Electronic Engineering who died in a train accident. He then confirmed the university's support for the armed forces and police in their war against terrorism to cleanse the country.
He also called on the deans to follow up the political seminars and to educate students about what is going on in Sinai and to raise awareness about their role in electoral participation without directing them towards a specific direction, but also to educate them about their rights and duties. He also stressed on the importance of following up the strategic plan to fight corruption and organizing an anti-corruption course for leaders, And the continuity of the work of seminars to introduce students to types of corruption and discuss ways to fight and cooperate with the management of regional universities at the administrative control and use them in organizing  courses and the seminars  for all categories of society.
The university president added that under the direction of the state to rationalize the use of water in all facilities, a program of awareness within the universities should be developed  and competitions should be organized in which students will present ideas and designs for posters, brochures and information materials to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation. And ideas for recycling and use of water in various fields.

The council also discussed the idea of assigning the committee of crisis and disaster with the support of the Council of Ministers and Civil Defense to conduct an experiment to evacuate a private building in the crowded places of students.
Within the framework of the 2018 State Declaration of Disability, the University has decided to discount 50% for special needs on all services and activities and to overcome all obstacles encountered by all faculties in order to facilitate their movement and provide all their requirements in all university facilities. and  discuss the development of new programs to accommodate disability and integrate them into society.
