Menoufia University  participates  on Tuesday, 27 February, in the Arab Literacy Day celebration under the slogan "Youth illiteracy", a fuel for violence and education is the light of life , at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

The celebration will include several topics such as illiteracy, violence and social justice between causes and consequences, the society of digital knowledge as empowerment and education for young people, values ​​of citizenship practices, acceptance of diversity and cultural diversity and its relation to the implementation of the goals of sustainable development for the year 2030. For the best solutions that can be applied to eradicate illiteracy from 2015 to 2024.

The ceremony will be attended by Dr. Jamal Al Dahshan, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University, Dr. Wahab Al-Ghatmi, Director of the Center for Adult Education, and members of the Arab Higher Committee for Literacy and Adult Education 2015-2024, members of the Arab Organization for Literacy and Adult Education, organizers of regional and international organizations, academics and experts.
